My sisters, mom and I have a yearly tradition of taking the kids to a little pumpkin patch up in Farmington. Amy had a day off of work this week so we headed up there with the kids for an afternoon of fun. The pumpkin patch is so cute..perfect for our little ones. There is a little hay maze for the kids to go through, scarecrows to look at (which Tanner particularly loved...we had to walk around to everyone so he could wave and say 'hi'), and a big field where the kids can pick their own pumpkins. Tanner was so cute picking his pumpkin, he picked up several before he decided he liked it well enough to hand to me so he could keep it. I asked him to pick another one for Cannon and we went through the same process of picking up several before he found one that he liked. The pumpkins ended up being pretty cute and really little (since Tanner was carrying them) which was fine by me because we paid for the pumpkins by the pound. Tanner loves his little pumpkins. He was very concerned about them when we brought them home- so we immediately got them out of the car and put them on the front porch. This morning when Tanner woke up he wanted to look out on the front porch to make sure his pumpkins were still there (he doesn't have much a vocabulary, so it took me a while to figure out why he kept knocking on the front door). It was a great day..now we just need to find a day to carve them.

I had to put in this picture because Josh..the 4 year old...insisted on taking a picture with his face on the witch "with the bra"

Cannon tried to eat his pumpkin, so he only got to hold it long enough for a picture.

THANKS FOR THE FUN DAY!!!!!! Too bad I can't have more days off.
Thanks for the pictures! It is fun to see Missy's kids too - I can't believe how big Emily is.
That looks like so much fun! I might just have to steal that idea with my kids.
Such cute pictures of Tanner and Cannon! I loved going to the pumpkin patch when I was growing up!
